My mother and aunts have been patients of Dr. Serrão’s for years. Dr. Serrão actually delivered me 23 years ago and delivered my baby last year. On the day of surgery everything went great from the time I walked in, and was greeted by his staff, to the time I left for home. I felt a little discomfort but knew exactly what to expect because they had explained everything to me during my pre-op visit. I had the packing in my vagina and a foley catheter which was uncomfortable, but it is not unbearable. I took the pain medication and used the ice packs as instructed and it helped with the pain I was having. I went back to the office in the morning to have the packing and catheter removed, it gave me immediate relief.
After the 6 weeks of healing took place I felt as good as new, having this procedure was the best decision I have ever made regarding my health. I feel confident and vibrant again. And my love life was back on track and I am having no problem reaching sexual gratification. Even my husband noticed the difference and was very pleased. I would recommend this procedure to anyone who is suffering from this discomfort, and I would strongly recommend my gynecologist, Dr. Serrão. My entire family loves him!
